As a 3D Artist at Shodhana Limited, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations for a range of digital projects, including product visualizations, marketing materials, and interactive media. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver visually compelling assets that align with the company’s creative direction and project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D models of products, environments, and props using industry-standard tools such as Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or Cinema 4D.
- Develop photorealistic textures and materials using software like Substance Painter, Adobe Photoshop, and ZBrush.
- Sculpt high-resolution assets and optimize models for real-time applications and rendering pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with animators, compositors, graphic designers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of 3D assets into larger projects.
- Interpret creative briefs and contribute innovative ideas to concept development, ensuring all 3D work meets both artistic and technical standards.
- Produce rendered images and animations for use in marketing, advertising, and product demonstrations, ensuring accurate lighting, shading, and camera setup.
- Participate in regular team meetings, providing updates on asset progress and incorporating feedback from directors, designers, and clients.
- Maintain organized asset libraries and adhere to project file management protocols to ensure efficient workflow and version control.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to modeling, texturing, or rendering, ensuring consistent quality across all deliverables.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in 3D art, tools, and workflows, recommending improvements to enhance visual output and efficiency.
Required Experience and Tools
- Proven experience in 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering for commercial projects, preferably in a product visualization, advertising, or digital media environment.
- Proficiency with 3D software such as Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or Cinema 4D, and texturing tools like Substance Painter and ZBrush.
- Experience with rendering engines such as V-Ray, Arnold, or Redshift and post-processing in Adobe After Effects or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of lighting, shading, UV mapping, and model optimization for both real-time and pre-rendered applications.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and creative development.
